Belie Belcan heads the Belcan Division, the Blanca (white) or Rada. He serves as the general of God's Air Force. Belie Belcan expresses the power of God through whipping up storms, hurricanes, earthquakes, and tsunamis. Belie Belcan is justice personified and the embodiment of God's righteous wraith. He is thunder and lightning. When he strikes the ocean, the dominion of his brother, the mighty Admiral Met Agwe Tawayo, the earth trembles. 


Belie Belcan is a highly elevated Loa known to work very closely with the Archangel Michael. Together they hunt down agents of Lucifer in the Astral Realm, chasing legions of demons and impure spirits back into the lowest depths of Hell. Belie Belcan commands the brave Loa of the Belcan nation against malevolent forces and the enemies of Vodou and its adherents.


Belie Belcan's feast day is September 29th. His colors are green and red. He asks for tobacco and then rum. Belie Belcan is consulted for all matters, especially legal issues, dealing with enemies, and righting wrongs. He should be present during all exorcisms and banishments.
