A Haitian-inspired depiction of Saint Isidore blowing dandelion seeds into a unified current of air elementals, carrying seeds of future provision across the land. This image represents Kevin Wikse’s “Sowing the Wind Feast Day,” an Earth and Air fusion working focused on planting opportunities, aligning with cycles of abundance, and recognizing the pathways through which provision returns. On May 15th, we will observe the Feast Day of Saint Isidore and his teaching Loa, Kouzen Azaka. Saint Sebastian Gran Bwa literally means "Big Wood," That is fitting because, as far as Loa goes, Gran Bwa is a BIG loa. Boss of the woods and chief of the forest, Gran Bwa is a centerpiece for the Vodou of the New World. Papa Legba-Saint Anthony Legba Division or Nation, is lead by the Loa Papa Legba  The Legbas are a division of crossroad spirits, both younger and older, who embody the elemental qualities of earth and fire. The Legba Division opens pathways, and portals to other worlds, and (perhaps sometimes more importantly) closes those gateways.
